The Great Escape

Five years ago, the husb and I travelled to upstate New York to work in Six Flags The Great Escape. It was the best 4 months we've ever had.

This year, my sister is embarking on the same journey, to the same place, on the same date!

I wish we could be there to send her off at the airport on Sunday but we’ll be at Kota Kinabalu, attempting to conquer Mt K.

To my lil sis, enjoy this once in a lifetime opportunity, take good care, try not to lose your valuables and don’t forget my shopping list! ;)

The Sister's 21st Birthday

My sister celebrated her 21st with a belated birthday party with family and friends yesterday.

No effort was spared in DIY-ing her decorations to the door gifts, to match her 'Garden Affair' theme. This girl's a potential bridezilla in the making, i tell you. Well I guess some things run in the family :P

Happy birthday sis! Though you drive me mad at times, you know i love you lots!

My sister gave us a scare when she almost passed out on Monday night. She was very dehydrated from a bad bout of food poisoning, after she came back from Jakarta. My parents immediately took her to the hospital where the doctors put her on the drip and under observation. So glad she was discharged yesterday and resting at home.
